Tangled Alders Guide Service offers traditional Maine upland hunting experiences built around great bird dogs, good company, and a love of the outdoors. Led by Registered Maine Guide Alex Hebert, we specialize in hunting over Llewellin Setters, with more than 15 years of experience training and hunting these dogs. While Maine grouse and woodcock are our focus, we travel throughout the country in pursuit of all upland species.
Hunting at Lakewood Camps
This fall, Tangled Alders Guide Service is excited to offer guided and unguided grouse hunts out of Lakewood Camps. Enjoy lodging and meals at the camp while hunting private, gated grounds along Lower Richardson Lake and Middle Dam.
Tangled Alders Guide Service will be handling bookings with Alex, Ted Walzl of Bald Porcupine Outfitters and Scott Oehrlein of Ironguide Outdoor Adventures back in the field guiding hunts this season.
