Terms & Conditions
By scheduling or utilizing services at Tangled Alders Kennel, Owner acknowledges that they have reviewed the current Terms & Conditions Waiver and agrees to be bound by those terms, as they may be updated from time to time.
A $50 fee will be added to your total if you arrive 30 minutes or more past your scheduled time without prior notice. While we aim to be flexible, we depend on timely communication to effectively manage the rest of our facility schedule.
Check out time for boarders is 9:00AM. A daycare rate of $25 for one dog or $40 for two dogs will be applied for pickups after 9:00AM.
A $15 per day sanitation fee may be applied when a pet requires cleaning beyond our standard practices. This may include, but is not limited to, dogs that frequently have accidents in their kennel. Not to exceed $100 per 10 days.
Owner shall pay all costs for all services provided at the time of pickup. If boarding charges are not paid in full, Tangled Alders Kennel may not allow the dog to return.
Owner shall provide enough food for the dog. A travel fee of $20 plus the cost of the food may be added to the bill if there is a need to replenish food. If the owner is not able to be reached, or the food type is unclear, boarders will be fed our kennel brand at a charge of $5 a day.
Owner shall provide current vaccination records from their vet.
Owner specifically agrees that to their knowledge their pet does not have nor has been exposed in the last 30 days to any disease or infection, including but not limited to, rabies, distemper, and kennel cough.
Dogs exhibiting any symptoms that may suggest illness such as sneezing, coughing, wheezing, runny eyes or nose, vomiting, lethargy, or diarrhea will not be accepted for care.
Owners must inform Tangled Alders Kennel if a dog is intact and must inform the Kennel of an intact female’s expected cycle.
Tangled Alders Kennel reserves the right to immediately change your pet's type of boarding or daycare if we believe is necessary to protect the health and well-being of your pet, other pets, our staff, you and any other persons. Owner is required to pay the difference.
If pickup is delayed, owners must notify Tangled Alders Kennel as early as possible to arrange an extended stay, accepting additional costs.
Pets left unclaimed for 10 days will be considered abandoned and ownership will become that of Tangled Alders Kennel.
Tangled Alders Kennel reserves the right to photograph and use your pet's likeness for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website and social media platforms, unless you notify us in writing that you wish to opt out. Owners will not be identified by name without their prior consent.
The owner acknowledges and agrees that Tangled Alders Kennel will have the authority to make medical decisions for the pet while in their care. Tangled Alders Kennel will make every effort to reach the owner and/or emergency contact in the event medical treatment is required. Should Tangled Alders Kennel not be able to reach a responsible owner, they will make a decision with a veterinarian they feel is best for the pet. Tangled Alders Kennel will not be responsible for any liability or costs of vet services.
Owner agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless Tangled Alders Kennel from any and all manners of damages, claims, loss, liabilities, costs or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and related costs, arising out of or related to Tangled Alders Kennel's service, except those which may arise from gross negligence or intentional and willful misconduct of Tangled Alders Kennel or their staff, including but not without limitation.
Owner shall be responsible for any damages and liability including but not limited to dog bites, destruction of property, injury and transmission of disease, unless those were a result of normal operation of a kennel or negligence on behalf of Tangled Alders Kennel.
